Completed the Kitchen Herb Pot

because i followed the instructions on the Windowsill Herb Kit, i was left with a lot of seedlings that i couldn't bare to thin. so instead i am giving some away as gifts. one of the gifts is an 8 inch pot with 3 types of herbs (basil, parsley, and chives). today i put all of these plants in the pot where they will stay. i have never done anything like this before so i hope it does not get too crowded (i don't really know how big they will get).

freshly planted herbs - 3 basil, 3 parsley and 2 small clusters of chive

the parsley and basil seedlings are from my Windowsill Kit (see an example of the transplanting process here), and the chives are from the 2 yogurt containers.

Potted Up Last of the Seedlings

today was a big day for my seedlings! all of the seedlings in Greenhouse #1 and the basil from my Windowsill Kit have been transplanted to bigger pots. i have some pots under the fluorescent light (2 tomatoes, Kitchen Herb Pot, and buttercrunch) and the rest on are on my windowsill (where i really hope some sunshine will come through soon).
