Greenhouse #1

April 5th
it is 8 weeks before the last frost date for my area so i started my first mini Jiffy greenhouse. Here is what i planted:

• 3 tomato seeds in 3 pellets for a total of 9 seeds (i will only need 2 plants in the end)
• 3 romaine seeds in 2 pellets (i want 4 plants in the end)
• 3 buttercrunch seeds in 2 pellets (i want 4 plants in the end)
• mint seeds in 3 pellets(they were too small to count)

i kept the greenhouse covered and under a warm light at 80 °F.

April 11th
Romaine and Mint sprouted

April 13th
Tomato sprouted
 removed plastic lid and placed greenhouse under fluorescent light for 16 hours a day

April 17th
Buttercrunch sprouted

April 21st
True leaves on Tomato and Mint

April 22nd
True leaf on Romaine

April 23rd
Thinned weaker Tomato seedlings (see the process here)
