Chives in Yogurt Containers

i have some chive seedlings growing in my windowsill kit. but i wanted  more chives plants to keep outdoors.

i took the netting off of 3 peat pellets and pressed the medium into 2 small yogurt containers. this way i had a larger surface area to plant a cluster of chive seeds. i added a few small holes on the bottom of the containers for drainage

on April 2, 2013 i planted 9 seeds in each container. On April 5th the first sprouts appeared. Today, just offer half have sprouted and they are a few inches tall. currently, they are under my fluorescent light for 16 hours a day and are being fed with diluted fertilizer.
